Check Mark Laboratory is a division of Dairy One and one of the leading wet chemistry laboratories in the northeast. All laboratory staff are certified by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. The laboratory conducts chemistry testing for fat, protein, total solids, casein, and lactose on most dairy products.

The Check Mark laboratory manufactures raw milk calibration standards each week to be used in other labs across the region. We can also develop customized calibration standards specifically for your IR analyzer to monitor your specific dairy product.

When sending samples, please make sure to include a filled copy of the Sample Submission Form.

The fat and protein calibration samples are shipped on Tuesday via UPS and the results are emailed or faxed by Thursday afternoon.  The somatic cell control samples are shipped on Wednesday afternoon.  Shipping and handling is included in the prices with Next Day or Second Day at an additional cost.  Customer pays fee to return shipping container.

All AOAC procedures are performed by staff that is licensed by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.
