Supervised or Unsupervised (Owner Sampler) Testing

Supervised Testing: A trained and certified Field Technician comes to your dairy, records milk weights and takes a milk sample from each cow for component analysis. Components are traditionally fat and  protein, but can also include somatic cell (SCC) and/or milk urea nitrogen (MUN) testing.  The Field Technician also records all changes in status information (fresh, aborted, dried-off, died or sold) and reproductive information for each cow.

Unsupervised Testing (Owner Sampler):  A trained and certified Field Technician will deliver needed testing equipment to your dairy. With this lower cost option, the member takes all their own samples and supplies the data to the Technician. The Field Technician will pick-up the samples and record herd information and send this to the laboratory for analysis and processing.
