Soil analysis and good field data is the foundation of any nutrient management plan and cropping strategy. The Agronomy Services team provides on-the-ground technicians for all types of data collection including soil sampling, P-index work, new ground mapping, scouting, flagging for field trials, manure and water sampling. In addition, we have several Falcon machines to accommodate high-density soil sampling for farms who are looking to fine-tune applications. Over 20,000 soil samples are collected in New York and Vermont and about 30,000 acres are scouted each year. The technicians also collect a number of specialized samples including PSNT’s, soil health samples, and CSNT’s.
