As long as you are connected to the internet you have your farm’s real time data at your fingertips. The system is cloud-based for collaboration and accessibility. Even better, it is available to set up for free on any farm with a DairyComp license. The VAS Platform app and browser have been designed specifically for privacy, practicality, and performance.
The browser is geared toward the management and analysis of your dairy. It brings together the data from your feed center, parlor, herd, and other industry partner integrations (heat and activity monitoring systems, DHI processing centers, etc.). You also can manage multiple sites from one platform. The browser is also where owners can invite new users, and control privacy settings for all users.
Your dashboard shows a specific accumulation of graphs and other custom key performance indicators, without having to type in commands and pull up graphs. The data is synced directly to DairyComp and up to date if you have an internet connection. The browser site also allows you to:
- Customize item boxes and choose to send to the app
- View events for all lactations
- Customize Dairy Dashboard
- Worklists – view percent completed as work is performed, avatar of who completed task
- Company Dashboard- multiple dairies in one view, customizable
- Industry partner data – widgets
- View feed inventory and projections in detail

The VAS Platform App is geared towards your day-to-day work on the dairy. You can look at and enter data cow side. No more running to and from the office for a list of animals or losing said list of events to enter by end of the day. Worklists can be set up to repeat on a weekly basis and send reports directly to you or your team members’ phones. Some of the functions in the app include:
- Viewing cow cards
- Viewing and graphing test day results
- View last 7 days of milk production
- Entering events
- Entering embryo transfer events
How to set up
The VAS PULSE Platform is included in your DairyComp licensing fee. Let us know you are interested by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 607-375-9963. Once the farm has been set-up, you will receive an email inviting you to the Platform for security purposes. A member of our support team will walk you through the steps of logging into your browser before connecting you to the mobile app and adding other users from your team.
